Greetings from Alabama

Hello from the road! We’re coming off of four hot nights in a row, from punk rock clubs in Charlotte and Birmingham to listening rooms in Atlanta and Huntsville. This is our first time swinging through Alabama and we’re certain that it won’t be the last. Today we cross back into Eastern Standard Time to our old stomping grounds of Knoxville, TN. We’ll be at Barley’s Taproom tonight for a free show, and tomorrow we’ll be live on WDVX for the “Blue Plate Special” radio show. We’ll be joining a blue plate alumni list that includes some of our favorites, like the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. This legendary radio show has a live audience, but if you won't be in Knoxville you can stream it on www.wdvx.com at noon on Monday.

A quick shoutout to Van Morrison, our trusted and beloved minivan, for hauling us around the country. We’ve somehow managed to pack seven Shambles and ten instruments in our best impression of a clown car. If anyone has any leads on a Honda sponsorship, send that info our way!

Stay tuned for our next post, where we will reflect on the glory and splendor that this solar eclipse is promising to be.
